When setting up rent payments, federal law requires us to obtain certain personal information to verify your identity - as well as your tenants - before making and receiving payments. You will need to provide your own information, not your business, as we do not support business accounts within our payment platform.
Once payments are set up, we may still need additional information to verify that your account is ready to receive payments. This is to ensure we comply with the highest level of security.
If you see an orange banner at the top of your payment dashboard asking to add additional verification, you will need to click on it to provide the requested information through your payment dashboard.
Our support staff cannot add verification on behalf of landlords, however, if you have questions please contact support.
